If your insurance provides coverage, the treatment is usually covered the same way as braces. Most coverage might look something like this:
- Insurance provider pays a percentage of your treatment
- Insurance provider pays up to x-amount of your treatment
Usually there is a cap on the amount that your insurance provider is willing to cover for orthodontic treatments. The cost of your treatment is also factored in by how long your treatment takes.

How long does the treatment take?
There are a number of factors that influence how long it takes for your teeth move into place. The main ones are: age, genetics, and oral hygiene.
Here is the average treatment duration for each type of case:
- Simple cases: 6~12 months
- Standard cases: 12~18 months
- Complicated cases: 18~24 months (some cases go longer)
